ARE YOU OVER 18 YEARS OLD?

Call!

Your Portland boudoir session is so much more than a photoshoot; it's an empowering, deeply personal experience designed to celebrate you.

We all carry those little internal worries about what we should hide or the parts we label 'flawed.' And you might feel a bit vulnerable about letting yourself be truly seen, or just hyper-focused on the bits of your body you don't instantly love. The real magic here is taking back your story. These photos become a little piece of history, a moment where you decided to truly honour who you are, not by pretending your complexities don't exist, but actually honouring them. They're a powerful, heartfelt message back to that self-doubt, proving that you are amazing, completely whole, and absolutely deserving of a celebration, just as you are right this second.

Your flaws mean you're a complex human with stories, a history, and a life lived. That alone is worth celebrating.

What's included

As the session deepens, we capture some of those more dramatic poses, confident angles, and artistic compositions. This is where your comfort level guides the experience; you always have full control of what we shoot and what stays off-limits. When it's all done, my goal is that you leave feeling lighter, stronger, sexier, and more connected to yourself than when you walked in.

The moment you arrive for your boudoir photography session in Portland, OR, I'm focused on creating a calm, welcoming environment. We ease into the space, get settled, and walk through outfits and your vision for the session. I learn your angles, your energy, and the vibe you want to embody. I guide you through the first few simple poses so you can ease into the experience, no pressure, no expectations.

This is where we find your rhythm.
I use prompts and posture tips to help you feel natural and connected to your body. You'll be amazed at how quickly the nerves fade and how powerful you start to feel. Whether you're going for soft and subtle or bold and spicy, I'm documenting the version of you that feels most authentic.

How it goes

3

Beyond creating gorgeous images you won’t believe are you, my goal is always to create a space where you feel safe, comfortable, and completely yourself.

How to Prepare

Comfort Item: Bring a cozy sweater, robe, or blanket to wear between sets.

What to Bring

Outfit Check: Try on everything a week before to confirm fit and identify any missing pieces. Pack all outfits and accessories neatly in a hanging bag or tote.

Lingerie/Outfits: Select 1–3 outfits. Consider one soft, one bold, and one non-traditional (like an oversized sweater, your partner's shirt, or a robe). Make sure everything fits well and makes you feel incredible. Remember, comfort and confidence are key. Sometimes it's nice to bring something that pushes you out of your comfort zone, but also pack a safe, comfortable option just in case.

Undergarments (Prep Day): Wear loose-fitting clothes and underwear the day before and morning of your session to avoid red marks or indentations on your skin.

Accessories: Choose jewelry (delicate or statement), heels, stockings, or props (flowers, a favorite blanket, a guitar, etc.).

Remember that I'm here. For all of it. You're safe here.

Mental & Emotional

If you have a partner, chat with them about how they can support you. Whether it's calming your nerves or hyping you up in the days leading up to the session.

In the week before, practice acknowledging your self-doubt, then actively replace it with affirmations about your strength and beauty.

Remind yourself why you booked this session. Is it for self-love, a milestone, or a gift? Focusing on your "why" helps ground you.

Send me a playlist of music that makes you feel powerful, sexy, and relaxed. Music sets the mood!

Spend a few minutes imagining how incredible you'll feel during and after the shoot.

Rest: Night before. Get a full 7–9 hours of sleep. This helps you look and feel refreshed, and it supports you emotionally too.

Physical Preparation

Hydration: Week leading up to the session. Drink plenty of water, hydrated skin looks its best!

Hair Removal: Complete 1–2 days before. Do any shaving, waxing, or threading you wish. Avoid doing this right before the session to prevent irritation.

Manicure/Pedicure: Complete 1–3 days before. Your hands and feet will be visible in many poses. Choose a clean, neutral, or classic color.

Hair & Makeup: Day of the session. If you booked hair and makeup, arrive with a clean, dry face and hair. If you're doing your own, choose a look that makes you feel confident and lasts well.

Facial Care: Complete 3 days before. Avoid intense facials or new skincare products in the week leading up to your shoot to prevent breakouts or redness.

You'll be amazed at how quickly the nerves fade and how powerful you start to feel.

Location

How to Choose the Right Boudoir Location in Portland, Oregon

Boudoir isn’t about the lingerie or the backdrop; it’s all about how you feel. Choosing the right location plays a huge role in creating that energy, especially when planning a boudoir in Portland, Oregon, where there are so many options.
When deciding on a location for your boudoir session, start by asking yourself:
  • Do I feel more relaxed in private spaces or open environments?
  • Would I feel more confident indoors or outdoors?
  • Do I want my boudoir session to feel cozy and intimate, or bold and cinematic?
  • What kind of story do I want these images to tell?
There’s no wrong answer. Your boudoir location should reflect who you are and support your comfort. For boudoir in Portland, Oregon, sessions can take place in styled studios with beautiful natural light, rental homes or Airbnbs, luxury hotels, or outdoor locations like forests and beaches for something more wild and free. If this feels overwhelming, that’s okay. Part of booking a me as your boudoir photographer is getting guidance on location scouting and vibe matching. You don’t need to know exactly where yet, just how you want to feel.

In-home Session

In-home boudoir sessions allow you to relax fully, ease nerves, and step into the experience in a space that already feels safe and familiar.

If comfort and privacy are important to you, an in-home boudoir session may be the perfect choice. There’s no commuting, no unfamiliar location, and no pressure to perform. Your home adds a deeply personal layer to your boudoir session. Whether you live in a cozy apartment or a minimalist space filled with natural light, your environment helps tell your story. You don’t need a Pinterest-perfect setup; a window with good light, a clutter-free area, and a simple bed or neutral wall are more than enough. If you’re unsure whether your space will work, that’s completely okay. I can guide you through prepping your home, choosing the best areas to shoot, and styling the space so the focus stays on you, not the room. The goal is never perfection; it’s confidence, comfort, and presence.
