Presence over perfection.
I'll help you savor every moment, even if your hair is messy, your dress gets dirty, or it rains. It's all about embracing those seemingly imperfect seconds, because they're the ones that make your day uniquely yours. Your day deserves to be savored, no matter what surprises come your way.
Emotion over aesthetics.
Pretty is easy. But I'm after the real moments that punch you right in the heart, the look in someone's eyes, the grandparent who's no longer with you, the family sharing a joke together. Those are the ones that mean everything; they're not staged, forced, or planned, but they matter the most.
Storytelling over stiff posing.
Instead of forcing you into a pose that looks nice but feels awkward, I'd much rather have you do things you'd typically do. Less 'angle your face this way' and more 'chase each other, and if you catch them, give them a big bear hug.' (which always ends up with genuine giggles) Even if you're a little nervous, I've got endless prompts to help ease the nerves.
